As part of the flight attendant costumes for the girls in the group, we have decided to make neck scarves to wear. I went to The Fabric Store in Wellington to look at fabrics that might be suitable. I looked for fabrics that were a good weight to be a neck scarf and also a cheap price.

After getting the samples I showed them to the rest of the group on our group Facebook message to get feedback about what everyone thought was the best option.
The general consensus was that the blue polyester chiffon was the best option. I purchased 0.3m of it at a cost of $3. I then cut up the fabric into 4 scarves by halving the total length and then cutting those two pieces lengthways so that we have 4 even scarves that are a good size to tie around the neck.
