Week Eight: Friday Meeting

Tasks To Do:

Emma:
- Buying Rubbers
- Making Stamps
- Spraypainting the shelf

Sam:
-Buy and make scarves
- Make banner
- Make hats
- Figure out clues and ratio for passports
-Email Mawsa and Tussock about sponsorship

Sophie:
- Make Badges
- Write proposal for Bennet's Books prize

Renee:
- Make variations of the design digitally (passport, boarding pass logo)

Uniform:
We discussed the women's flight attendant uniforms that we will be wearing on the day. We have decided on:

- White top/ blouse
- Black skirt
- Black boots
- Neck scarf (gold?)
- Hat

Looking at getting sponsorship for the prizes:
The places we asked for potential sponsorship include:

- Bennet's Books- We have to type a proposal for the lady at Bennet's to give to her supervisor.
- Library (Printing Money)- We have spoken to the Tech people and they will ask their supervisors and then email us when it has been approved or declined.
- Tussock Cafe- We need to email Janet Knox about getting a tussock voucher.

Mawsa- We need to email Holly Dodson about a prize donation from Mawsa.

Additional paper options:  We are going to try out different weights of paper to print the passports on. We have sourced some newsprint paper to do tests printing on.

Making a shelf for the passports: We needed some type of shelf to display the passports on at the market. We designed and made the little shelves in the Fine Arts Workshop with help from one of the technicians.
