The day of the market went great! Emma brought in the suitcase from home and met Sam and Renee outside the hall at 8am and Sophie arrived shortly after. We finished getting dressed up in our flight attendant costumes and set up the table.
The night before, Emma had come in to the venue while the events team was setting up to bring in our table and figure out where it was going to be placed. Instead of having it back in the little alcove area assigned to us we decided to bring it forward and meet the tape that marked the main entrance 'run way'. This way, people coming to the market had to walk past us in order to enter the main part of the market place.
We had the majority of our passports in the blue bucket and the rest were on display at the front of the table. We also had our snapchat poster, instructions and the prize draw box ready to go. (EB)
Tapiwa arrived a little late but that was fine as we were all able to prepare our pitch together before we had to present it. Emma brought in a few extra points to add to the pitch and some ideas for utilising snapchat during the market. (EB)

The market began bang on 11am and we had our first customers!
We gave a quick talk on how to use the market passport and reminded them to add us on snapchat.
Walking around the market Emma noticed people using their passports and asking stalls if they had the right symbol that matched the stall they were at to be rewarded with a stamp. (EB)
Passports slowly began to come back completed!
At the end of the market we had 28 passports left over. There were 18 names entered into the box for a chance to win a prize. We gave away 6 prizes and used the Massey Market News to help get the word out for the prize winners. As we had their cellphone numbers, Sophie also texted the winners after the market to organiz a time and place to collect the prize (EB)
