Snapchat was a great visual tool to use on the day of the market to advertise our offering, different stalls and a market as a whole. We also has some bonus prizes to give away to people who checked our snaps and followed the clues. Tapiwa roamed around the market palace with his phone and snapped different stalls and people to show off what everyone was offering. We tried to encourage people to check out the snapchats to see what was available and check them out for stamps. During the course of the market we also began to play a little game using the social media app by posting clues to find bonus prizes such as a zoo pass or even a tussock voucher. It was a fun way to try and get more people participating with our snapchat account.
