Costumes:
I have been looking at options for our flight themed costumes. As a group we are keen to dress up to really get into our roles. The four girls will dress up as flight attendants, and Tapiwa will dress up as a pilot. We want to keep the cost of this as low as possible so we will try to use items we already own, or make things rather than buy them.
If we are all dressed up, then it will make us look more like a team and people will recognise us as the passport group and will be able to approach us for help.
Flight attendants:
-White blouse (We should already own one or be able to borrow one easily enough)
-High waisted skirt. This would be best if we could all have matching coloured ones, that go with the Packed colour scheme (e.g. blue skirts). If this isn't possible, then any skirt should be fine. It will just look like we work for different airline companies :)
-Neck scarf. We should be able to get these easily. I think even if our skirts don't match, we should at least have matching scarves. We could buy these from a cheap store such as '2 Cheap', or we could cut up a piece of fabric. Blue would be the best colour option so that it ties in with the Packed colour scheme.
-Black shoes of some sort (probably doesn't matter too much what shoes we wear).
-Depending on how matching we want to be, we could have our hair the same way. One example was matching buns and scrunchies, although this would only work for Renee, Sam and I, as Emma has short hair.
-Flight attendant hats. So that we don't have to go searching for hats, we could make our own. I found some paper ones online, but couldn't find the instructions on how to make it. I did find a Peter Pan hat tutorial that looks similar, but is made of fabric instead of paper. We could make it out of either material, although paper would be cheaper.

-Matching badges. I think to tie us together more, we should wear matching badges. I have lots of old badges at home that we could stick something onto. We could use the packed logo, print it out, stick it onto cardboard and then glue it onto the badges. We could also use the logo on our DIY hats, by sticking it onto the side.
Pilot:
-White shirt. Either short or long sleeved. Again this would be an item that Tapiwa might own, or could borrow from someone instead of buying it.
-Blue or black dress pants (same as above)
-Dress shoes (same as above)
-Blue tie (same as above)
-Belt (same as above)
-Matching badge. Tapiwa can also have a Packed logo badge to wear on his shirt.
-Pilot hat. It would be cool to find an actual pilot hat, but this may be difficult. If we cannot find one, then we could make one out of paper. I found one online but you have to pay for the instructions. We could try and work it out ourselves instead (shouldn't be too difficult to do). The hat should also have the logo on it.

For a bag drop concept.
check-in table inspo
Clouds and windows are effective
Could make our big prize similar to this packaging-more fun
Could be a style used for an instructions board/poster.
Shelving and Tables
I have one of these at my flat that compacts so that it is flat, depending on whether it fits in a suitcase, we could look into using this as shelving.
I looked into jewelery displayers, where they compact fact and then fold up on a slant. We could do the same thing and have our passports displayed on this, and when stored-in it. We would just have to put some little lips or shelves so that they wouldn't slide down.
Also looked into foldable/compacting cardboard desks.
