Week Seven: Prizes Research

I went to Moore Wilsons to look at the catering sized bags of lollies. We have estimated that we would need two bags (4kg) of lollies for all of the people participating in our game.

For 2kg of fruit bursts it is $15.27, which would bring our cost to $30.54 (or $6.108 per person) for two bags. This seems a bit expensive as this isn't even the main prize of the offering. 

Another cheaper alternative that I looked at was the Carousel wrapped Toffees which will still be hygienic as they are wrapped, but with a lower price. 

They are $12.60 for 2kg, which would be $25.20 for two bags, and $5.04 per person. Despite being cheaper, I don't actually think that people like this type of candy very much, so it might be better to stick with the slightly more costly fruit bursts. These two varieties were the only two types of wrapped mix lollies at Moore Wilsons. We could look into other online sellers of large quantities to get a better deal or better type of candy prize if the team decides that these are too pricey or not interesting enough.
